After 32 years of service, Pastor David Harper has indicated that it is time for him to step down from his ministry as senior pastor. Consequently, the Search Committee is seeking to find a mature man of God to be our next pastor.

This is a full-time position for a man who functions well leading (and working alongside) deacons who function as elders as they oversee various church ministries. This servant-minded male should preferably be in his early-mid 40’s who maintains a godly family life. He should be an under-shepherd who, apart from his sermon preparation, also has a regular habit of personal Bible study and prayer. He must be comfortable with relating to all age groups and with providing personal counseling to individuals in need. In addition, he must be willing to minister to people in their homes and in health-care facilities when special needs arise. He must understand and wholeheartedly agree with our doctrinal statement and our philosophy of local church ministry, and should feel “at home” in our church environment. He will be serving and equipping alongside a well-rounded and mature group of committed believers to the local church.

If you are interested in this position and would like more information, you may request a copy of our doctrinal statement, our constitution and bylaws, and our church profile. Please send us a short bio of yourself with your request and direct all communication to the chairman and secretary of our Search Committee. If you would like to recommend a potential candidate for this position, you may also do so by contacting our chairman or secretary of the Search Committee listed below. All requests for more information and recommendations will remain confidential within the Search Committee.
